Perfect fit

Your personal footprint is the basis for every myVALE Wombat. With a step foam box, you can create an impression of your unique foot landscape from the comfort of your own home, which is then digitized and analyzed in our manufactory. Specially trained orthopedic shoe technicians will now create your individual myVALE footbed that is optimized according to orthopedic criteria - for example, a comfort bed, a gel cushion, an elevation or another specification can also be integrated. The upper shoe made from 100% natural milled felt adapts individually to the contours of the foot - for unique comfort. Each shoe is completely unique, stimulating and supporting the foot muscles and guaranteeing you walking and standing as relaxed as if you were walking on clouds.

Optimal grip

Outdoor profile: The specially developed myVALE outsole offers excellent grip thanks to its special contour profile and prevents uncontrolled slipping, even on wet and slippery surfaces.

Indoor profile: The surface-friendly and non-slip outsole has a slightly nubby profile in which no small stones can get caught.

The myVALE indoor outsole is only available in the color “Honey”.

The high-quality material “EVA” stands for low abrasion and long durability. If necessary, the myVALE Wombat can also be resoled.

Relaxed rolling

The technology of the myVALE Wombat was developed based on decades of experience. Each slipper has a hand-sanded “roller” that makes it easier to roll and supports the dynamics of the foot when running.

Natural, warm and breathable

Pure, cozy Tyrolean mountain sheep and merino wool ensure a pleasant, dry foot climate and have an insulating and temperature-regulating effect - warming in winter and cooling in summer. Virgin wool, water, steam and pressure are all the ingredients needed to make the felt upper. Natural and felted from one piece, this material, sustainably made from renewable natural fibers, is skin-friendly and completely biodegradable. No synthetics, no chemicals - just pure naturalness that gives your feet a comfortable feeling of security.

Self-cleaning, easy-care and water-repellent

New wool is a very hard-wearing, robust and lively material - the different types of fibers rub against each other through natural movements and thus release dirt and impurities back to the outside. Through the process of compressing the soft virgin wool in traditional handcraft, which has been tried and tested over generations, the unique dirt and water-repellent properties of the virgin wool are retained and make the myVALE Wombat a long-lasting, easy-care feel-good shoe.

Tradition connects

The myVALE Wombat combines the craftsmanship of two modern, traditional companies that have passed on and developed knowledge over generations. Markus Schott and the Zacher family - Zacher Johann & Co. OHG - met at the International Crafts Fair in Munich in 2016 - the idea of making myVALE slippers out of high-quality felt was born. The original South Tyrolean fulled felt has been made by hand since 1560 using only regional resources in one of the oldest craft businesses in the country. Schott Orthopädie-Schuhtechnik from Homberg (Efze) in northern Hesse is a 4th generation family business. It has stood for innovation in custom-made shoes since 1888 and offers its customers a wide range of custom-made insoles, custom-made shoes and detailed running analyzes in its own running laboratory. myVALE, the custom-made sandal manufacturer at Schott, has been producing sandals and, with the Wombat, slippers since 2008, exclusively based on your personal footprint.
